Gareth Davies
Gareth is a registered Osteopath in Swansea, with a BSc (Hons) degree from Oxford Brookes University. Prior to this Gareth spent eight years as a Sports Therapist at Swansea University working with amateur and professional athletes. He has also completed post graduate course in Acupuncture.
Gareth now offers injection therapy and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (sonography) as part of his treatment.
Gareth is registered by GOsC and fully insured by Balens.
Countless people suffer in pain believing nothing can be done to help them, however Osteopathy can be an effective course of treatment. It works with the structure and function of the body, and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.
I use an holistic approach and consider the person as a whole not just the painful symptoms. I assess individuals from functional, mechanical and a structural perspective. My assessment, treatment and advice aims straight from the root cause using many treatment modalities which include soft tissue massage, stretching, acupuncture, manipulations (adjustments) and exercise rehabilitation. This enables the body to restore itself to good health and normal function.
